The health insurance industry and the agent force within the industry facilitate a significant role in our society today. Our industry provides expertise when Americans are faced with making significant financial decisions on their financing of healthcare. From advice and product solutions on long term care, individual health insurance, employee benefit planning, Medicare supplements, disability, and much more, Americans rely on their local licensed insurance professional. The Iowa Association of Health Underwriters (IAHU) not only believes this to be a significant part of our Iowa landscape, but we are working daily to carry on the tradition of excellence our industry has established. We must work to do so, because a true professional never quits learning and gaining more expertise. Our association embodies these ideals in our mission, vision, programming, and public advocacy efforts. IAHU has established itself in Iowa as the leader in the healthcare financing and insurance industry. We continue to offer ongoing programming at the local, state, and national level. Our annual convention brings in national speakers with experts from the state of Iowa presenting as well. Our locals provide numerous opportunities for continuing education and networking in an enjoyable and professional environment. Our national association continues to be "the leader" in Washington on healthcare topics far and wide. Now has never been a better time to be a part of IAHU.
